To pause... to breathe
Take a seat, take a breather and look to yourself.
Look to yourself, to your name, to your image, to your soul.
Wish now that you could be a better person,
Dream of things that have already passed and cry.
Cry the sky and the moon, cry your life and cry your friends.
Cry to a love stillborn,
Cry a life that has passed onto shadow's own.
It is the inevitable, it is the hopelessness.
It is fate and its cruel ways,
Ways of steel and ways of stone.
Paths to eternal lands of infinite,
Where old and young and wise and rash are one.
Take a step and take a breath.
Eat out the air of the world and feel it in your veins,
Quicksilver to your head.
Take a leap and hold your breath.
Take in the world and all it has to show, pictures to cherish and ideas to hold.
And as you fall, let it all out.
Let it go and let it rot,
Feel the dark cloud disperse in the infinite,
In the void of your leap.
Open your eyes now and let them go.
Let the pictures flow,
Share them, kill them, abandon them,
Let them mix with the rest of the void,
Where they belong.
Breathe again,
Open your eyes, the wind has dried your tears.
Look to the east and the west,
Look to the sun, to the moon and the stars.
Feel them eternal.
Only they can hold all that was, that is and that will be.
So let it go, let it rest.
Just breathe.
